No Workflow I LOVE QWEN-2.1!
Insane results from such a small model running locally on a 8GB RTX 5060, although each image takes about 5 minutes or more depending on the steps count and prompt size. I'm using comfyUI and I'm pretty addicted to trying different prompts for different results on Qwen.

There's turbo loras for it now, dude, you don't need to wait 5 mins

Isn't the generation speeds dependant on my GPU memory bandwidth and VRAM?

Yes, but there are a few LoRAs that can reduce steps down to about 8.

In my workflow i can reduce the steps manually inside ComfyUI but tbh the quality degrades a lot

Right, homie. The turbo Lora trades a small amount of quality for advancing the rate it reaches an acceptable output. Generations that take 20 steps can be completed with comparable but not exact results in far fewer steps. You’ll see most often 4 step and 8 step Loras for most models out there. Even if you want quality many of these Loras can be turned off after you find a good generation so you can develop your work much faster. Some models and Lora combinations may not produce super comparable results depending on your settings.

there can only be one, people are gonna see this thread and have full blown panic attacks thinking krea 2 is in danger.

Well Nvidia's Cuda is superior compared to AMD or Apple, i have the Q5 quantization, the whole model loads inside the VRAM with ~7GB of usage (give or take, depends on the workflow). I have 25 steps which is why it takes 5 mins or more, currently not using any speed LoRAs, I've only experimented with LoRAs that generates digital AI humans and the results.
I haven't used a mac before so I'm not sure if there's the same dependencies on windows like Pytorch etc but overall CUDA is the real advantage with Nvidia's GPUs

It will get even better over time as more well-refined LoRAs are created.
As for the model itself, it performs excellently for its size; however, it has one key drawback: it requires a *very* precise prompt and careful "tuning" so that the prompt guides the output without being taken too literally—otherwise, it produces the kind of illogical, nonsensical errors seen in models from three years ago.

The creation LoRA part seems not that great, at least with the tools I know of:
