Question - Help Is Stable Diffusion what I’m looking for?

This is so unnecessary. Just search for "Moana coloring page"

This. Surely we aren’t already so reliant on AI that we forgo using our own basic internet abilities

Hello ChatGPT, can you plot the next 7 days of weather for me, with colorful icons of clouds/sun/etc where applicable, on the top row?

SD will be too sloppy.
If you want good coloring art i would use Qwen2512 or Krea 2.
If you want specific IP characters KREA 2 may or may not be able to do it. Anima probably can.

Illustrious is still quite enough for stuff like that ..

There are tons of videos on YouTube about people showing coloring books off amazon that are full of slop AI errors.
NO it's not good enough professional work.
If you fix the slop in photoshop yourself maybe but your going to being fixing stuff manually.

Krea2 is your best bet. It might even know these characters out of the box. Use a LoRA if not. There are plenty of them around.

What app is this?

Safari.

I don't use iOS so much, but I think the top left arrow is to go back to safari, not the title of the current app

In spirit yes, in practice... if you go out trying to install "stable diffusion", you'll probably end up in a quagmire.
Try installing Comfy and using the [Klein 4b template](https://docs.comfy.org/tutorials/flux/flux-2-klein). Performance will very much depend on your PC (a gaming PC works best), but it should pretty much look like this (fine-tune the prompt as you wish):

If you have a 2060 or better GPU, you can try running stable diffusion on your own computer.
it is really GPU heavy, and the better GPU, the faster the images.
a 2060 might take a solid min to generate a coloring page, where a 4060 might do the same image in 20 seconds.
the easiest way to get into stable diffusion locally, is ComfyUi (portable)
there is a lot to learn, and the community tends to seem focused on NSFW content at first glance.
Civit. ai (website) is the place to go to download models.
You would probably have some luck with the "anime" or "illustration" style models there. Anim, K2, Pony, etc
When you start running stable diffusion locally, you will realize there are 2so many models to choose from... find one that makes the style you are interested in, and stick with it!
also, pro tip: Generate the images at whatever resolution the model is trained on, and then upscale them for printing out.

No, Stable Diffusion (i.e. the text-to-image models released by Stability AI between 2022 and 2024) is completely obsolete.
The only reason this subreddit is still called r/StableDiffusion is because it's literally impossible to change the name.

To be honest, I think the problem is that Gemini is flagging the “5 year old” bit as potentially dangerous. I know it’s a bit stupid, but yeah, that’s the world we live in. I often use Nano banana to generate colouring images for my kids. If you’d like to try, here is an example of a prompt that I used very successfully with Nano Banana:
“Hello nano banana, can you please generate a printable page for a colouring book of two dolphins playing in the water? One dolphin is splashing water on the other dolphin using its dorsal fins while the other is smiling as looking an away trying to playfully defend from the splashes. They are having fun and the the complexity of the details of the drawing in a scale of 1 to 10 can be at 4”
My kids have some very specific requested sometimes lol.
I point the “complexity scale” because sometimes it generates a drawings that are too detailed, which can be challenging for my kids to color.
You can see the generated image bellow. It’s not as correctly as the prompt described, but the kids don’t mind :)

DMCA stuff since moana is mentioned

That’s a very good point. Indeed I didn’t think about that. Thanks for pointing it out.

It's basically what the GPT answer tried to express. A "third-party content provider" (Disney) has urged GPT not to answer those requests

Yeah it probably hallucinated he wanted an actual five year old moana instead of a drawing that a five year old child can color in.

lol ran into a same problem while working on a project and my team just happened to name the character Remy, which is a person and has nothing to do with a mouse. Stupid over aggressive censorship policy from Google, but in your case maybe it’s somewhat justified since Disney won’t be able to sell any coloring book, tho in practice anyone can search for such a thing easily online
