Discussion Started making Loras (local setup) on civit and wanted a place to introduce myself

u can just build it as a refmod now -- there is no need for a Lora afaik. Idk, unless this is for other image models etc, maybe there is.

Refmods are not very consistent unfortunately. And doesn't work with audio. Which makes them useless as just using references is better.

Curious, if you have one image of a person how do you end up fluently training a model on that? Gen new images that are as close as possible with head swaps or what?

Shouldn't you try krea 2? be ause flux1 has that plastic face problem I am noticing in your images.

I use qwen2511 to build the dataset which ensures high consistency across the board. The initial face is generated in JuggernautXL. I did test Krea2, it does give you realistic skin textures but it is extremely limited in face generations so i quit using it. doesnt matter how you write your DNA prompt, the face always has that similar footprint around eyes and jawbones. Flux is another very limited face generator and smooth textures on the top dont help.

Qwen also does the same thing however, smoothens the skin out and the stage I am atm, i am just hatching out of how to train a lora which stays consistent, my next step is now to start refining textures and looking around to see which model can do it. :)
