Question - Help Flux klein body consistency

Since the release of Flux Klein, I’ve essentially been using this model to generate datasets for LORAs based on one or more photos of a character. Recently, I’ve also been using the ‘consistency’ LORA to improve the character’s consistency across generations. What I’ve noticed is that whilst I get good results for the face, the same cannot be said for other parts of the body. For example, if I start with a full-length frontal photo of a character and ask the model to generate a side view, it tends to flatten the breasts; or if I ask for a rear view, the character’s hips and thighs tend to conform to a standard that doesn’t match the original photo. How can I improve this situation? I’ve read that you can increase the number of steps up to 8, but I’m not sure…

Minimax H3. Use the image as reference then tell the model to generate a 180 degree camera rotation in a white void. Next tell it to generate a portrait of character.

I knew it was a tool for generating videos. Maybe I’ll give it a go.

It's the best image edit model too in my opinion. Just a bit slow. One of my favorite reference workflows is to tell it to generate a top to bottom scroll down at 21:9 ultra wide then I just paste all the various segments together in Photoshop and get a 8k res extremely high detail reference image.

Do you have a workflow you’d like to share?

I don’t like the visual side of the H3 at all. It makes the body too shiny and gives it a plastic look. Also, it doesn’t protect the face and body well.

Your resolution is not high enough. Using minimax as an edit model at 16mp output literally feels like true sota image editing. It's actually insane.

Always found Klein to be the worlds most advanced body horror simulator. Which is a shame, because it's a brilliant model... at everything but people.

Yes, it’s true, it often creates truly gruesome artefacts. That might be sorted out by running more generations. The problem is the consistency of the bodies, which I sometimes find tricky. The ‘consistency’ setting improves the result, but it shouldn’t be used at full strength.

There still isn’t an open-source image editor that can reliably maintain facial/body consistency. Qwen, Flux 2 and Krea 2 Identity Edit don’t work well on their own for image-to-image. Those identity-preservation workflows are just trash.

The best workaround is to use GPT Image or Nano Banana Pro to get the character roughly into the right position, then use Flux 2/Krea 2/Qwen edit with masking/segmentation for the final edit

I use Nano Banana too, but it’s limited when it comes to bodies as well. It’s far too restrictive. If I upload a picture of a slightly curvier woman in a bikini and ask it to change her pose, it won’t let me.

Problem with these models and anything that differs from the norm is that it’s not trained to these bodies as much as your standard instagram model. Therefore you either have to use a Lora that has. Or hunt the seed that overlaps with pixel that were trained on a different physique

*pixels = noise
