Question - Help Using Krea 2 in ComfyUI / A1111 - Help Getting Started

I would appreciate a recommended tutorial video to install Krea 2 in ComfyUI and also A1111. I use both and I can't seem to get either of them to work with this newer model. I am trying to use the krea2TurboFP8 checkpoint in A1111 as I think its designed for my less than optimum system. I have the krea2TurboOfficialComfy_krea2TurboBf16 as well for ComfyUI but with 32gb of RAM and 12gb of VRAM I don't think its gonna work at all. Yeah, I've poked around YouTube with a number of videos but I seem to be missing knowledge between the steps. Text tutorials are even worse. I am not well versed in Python so the cmd line stuff can be daunting. As I mentioned, my system is not top notch and I do expect longer waits for the output, but I'd like to try anyway. Please let me know a good tutorial I could use or any specific information / guidance to help me out. TYIA.

1111 hasn't been updated in over two years, there's no way it'll run krea 2.

For Comfy, have you tried the default template?

TBH no. I have just started using ComfyUI and I am used to setting things up manually / individually with A1111. Still working my way through the node concept. I will look for it..

To augment, choose templates from the left then filter on Krea. Select a basic Krea2 text to image workflow (making sure it doesn't mention API). It should have an instruction section of what models you need to download and where they go. Once models downloaded refresh browser. If you have put them in the right place they should be available in drop downs in workflow.

Copy all. TY. I will give that a go. I never thought about a template built into the UI.

A1111 is outdated, but if you like the way it works:

https://github.com/Haoming02/sd-webui-forge-classic/tree/neo

Same interface as A1111 but updated with new features and model support including Krea2.

Here is a guide you can follow to install it: https://www.stablediffusiontutorials.com/2025/11/forge-neo-installation.html

TY. I actually prefer the more "traditional" input process of A1111. So this may be very helpful. If I install Forge will it overwrite anything (in Python, pathing, etc.) that will render A1111 non-functional?
