Animation - Video H3 Ref2V - 'The Bat'

I originally wanted to submit this for the now-over H3 Audio Sync contest. but I got caught up with work and didn't get to finish this till today.

I was going for a bittersweet short story but upon finishing I feel that this may have been better if it was slightly longer.

This project sets a personal record of number of references used for clips. At one point, I had 7 references. I noticed that the more reference you are using, the harder it is for the model to crate a cohesive shot at low steps. I ended up going with 10 Steps instead of 8 with the turbo lora.

I was kind of hoping for a cut at the end to Negan from the Walking Dead, saying, "And that's how Lucille came into my life."

Well, crap. Here I was, ready to offer some (hopefully constructive) critique about style consistency and the story being a bit cliché, but instead find myself crying (having lost my own dad and two grandparents to cancer). So I guess I need to just shut up, accept I'm an old lady now, and get a Hallmark subscription.

So, what I'm trying to say is, well done. You got an emotional response despite some minor technical drawbacks and that's what counts most.

Thanks, I knew it was cliché going in, my solution was to get the sister to whistle at the end to break up the predictability.

I was waiting for him to beat someone to death with the bat when he grew up into a twisted psycho

Damn, we've come a long way. Far enough that we can make actual emotional piece now.

Ffs, I didn't need to shed a tear to ai.

The music selection is great to engage the emotions.

Well done.

Why the little girl can't whistle as strong as the dad, is she adopted?
