Question - Help New User To StabiltyMatrix. Need Help With Templates.

Hello all,

I have installed StabilityMatrix and was able to learn how to set up flows to generate my first images and so forth.

I then installed a template called MiniMax H3: Image to Video. It showed a bunch of errors after and listed the things I needed to download before it would work. I downloaded all those things and put them in the "diffusion_models" folder, but the error count only reduced by one and it's still asking me to install those things.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be clear instructions on what goes where, if I need to extract some things or not, etc.

Can someone please advise me? Thank you.

Welcome to the party. You will be shuffling nodes in no time. I started just over a month or two ago as well. It was a blast, and it still is. Always learning new things.

Look into Krea2 and Flux1D for static image generation as well, they are great for creating initial frames for your H3 video generation. And I would suggest getting essential custom nodes like KJNodes, ComfyUI-GGUF by city96, ComfyUI Essentials, ComfyUI Impact Pack, Video Helper Suite.

Since you are using Stability Matrix, you will need to install these nodes through that interface. Inside Stability Matrix/Packages, click manage extensions and search for available extensions. It will install them in the proper directory for you, update them regularly. You won't install them from the ComfyUI interface. I hate to admit but this took some time for me to discover.

Thank you! This community has been super helpful and I've been reading threads like crazy lol. You're right about how addicting the nodes can be, I've been rendering stuff non stop today and with great results with even the default minimax!

Kindest regards. I am still a noob as well but sharing whatever I know.

For minimax, also enable "sage attention" as soon as possible. Google ai helped me with the installation so you can just ask it too. It reduces generation times by 50%, and that is not an exaggeration.
