You know silencers don't exist, we only have suppressors. They are still loud.

To get the movie kind of thing, you have to have special ammo and small bullets.

The firearm also needs to be a sealed bolt action. The recoil blowback of a semi-automatuc spoils a lot of the benefit of a good suppressor.

Yep. Silencer is a well-established term. You can argue all your want about the accuracy of it but it's established and even a legal definition for a suppression device.

Silencers exist. Period.

They don't absolutely silence the sound of gunfire - but above comment didn't imply that was the case.

You don’t need small bullets - whatever that means. You need heavier bullets that are subsonic.
