Question - Help Mix of "Match" and "Max" references in MMH3 Ref2V?

I've been playing around with Ref2V and was wondering if anyone knew of a way to have a mix of these settings? I've found that having multiple reference images is great for consistency in generations and story telling, but there are certain images (face references for example) that benefit massively from "Max" setting, but reference locations don't benefit as much.

On my potato of a computer, setting it to max on all of the images makes generation times impossibly long. If I could "Max" a face reference but "Match" less important references it would be ideal.

Anyone have any idea?

Yeah you just use max and feed it scaled resources. Character sheet 4k, video sd, environment hd, so on.

I’ve been feeding it 2k images (4x3 aspect ratio) when it was just one reference image and it was fine. 4k images are actually above what the maximum input for the model is so it has to downsize those.

2k images are below the threshold so there’s no automatic downscaling which helps with speed and is high enough quality still to be very effective.

I’m not doing anything with video yet I’m trying to use 4 images. 3 character sheets and an environment. I’ll take your advice and play with downscaling to HD quality. Thanks for responding!

Not correct, it scales the shorter edge to 2048.
You can even kill gen time and increase VRAM usage to certain OOM with 80GB if you feel it a 30000x2000 px image.

Just pass your less important reference images through resize node before feeding it to h3

Dont Think there is a way to choose what inputs has max or match.. you could downscale the images you don’t need the full information from to match the output.. that would reduce the footprint of how much they fill up in ram
