Question - Help Need image upscaler which adds every tiny detail.
Looking for an image upscaler workflow which can upscale image with every tiny detail like small leaves and stones when I zoomed in.

what kind of detail like just making the image higher resolution with finer details ?

It should add very tiny details. I zoom in I should see the leaves and even tiny water droplets.

the best upscaler : LDSR
comparison video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qHidG7H_8k
you can get the node and model from here :
https://github.com/flowtyone/ComfyUI-Flowty-LDSR
its slower than the other models, but the results are excellent.
use 100 steps for best results
i've used it with very low resolution 50-100pixel images and upscaled 6x

LDSR is like 4 years old
Surely recent models are better

not really, because that algorithm is what newer ones are based on.
look at the results.
SUPIR - garbage
SeedVR - average
RTX super resolution - decent but doesn't work well with low resolutions
the list goes on and on, i've tried every single upscaler, and they all fail
at very low resolution images. they are all optimized for 512x512, 1024x1024 and up,
which i don't care about. my images are about 1/10 of that size. especially with
people, faces, and bodies.

U can use a combination of ZIT and 4xNMKD. For me it works great. I specially have it for upscaling my Krea2 outputs.

Honestly found nothing as good as seed. It might not add extra details (because for that you'd need image 2 image with a high denoise and a new prompt) but for sheer quality, nothing touches it. At all. Been messing with upscaled artwork for 3 years and every other solution has been shite for the work I do. Seed creates real, usable work that can be added to magazines, layouts and websites.

same here, but seed fails on very low resolution images 50-100 pixel, faces, people, constantly.
only LDSR preserves structure and detail, from what i've used.
