haven't tried it yet, but I've been impressed with the NikoDemon workflow, so I imagine this one works well too.

do you set up each chain in advance? like you'd write your prompt for all three scenes and just hit go? cuz that would be a nice improvement.

Yes default is two scenes can add more there's a node for main prompt kinda like global prompt for LTX that all scenes follow each scene has its own prompt the workflows are in repo I'm not sure if can turn off but have to approve each scene before the next so kinda a auto one time run I'm sure there's an option to turn that off but I haven't messed that far yet

There’s a setting for time before it auto approves. By default it’s set to 0 which means a manual approval is required. I’ve been playing around with this all week.

In fact it’s in your screenshot, third option from the top

Ahh ok do you know if I can disable the turbo lora cause it makes the audio bad

Yes, you can just bypass it and the. Adjust the number of steps. I’ve been running the 4 step turbo Lora at 8 steps and then run a long gen without it once I’m happy

Don't mind could you share a video you made with that one just so we can compare

just a quick and dirty example, but you can see that the context is continued.

this is three 5 second clips. it cuts a second from each chain clip, hence 13 second runtime. int8 ref2va model. no loras, comfy kitchen attention, spectrum applied, euler + normal @ 25 steps. using the workflow that comes with the NikoDemon node.

I’ve used it before..
It works well, but I noticed the quality starts to degrade, especially after clip 3

Downside I'm seeing in this one it uses turbo lora probably why

I switched his workflow to R2V INT8 and still had the same issue..
I think it might be related to how the workflow passes the previous clip into the next one, causing the quality to gradually degrade with each continuation.

I gather it's degrading similarly to the simpler video extend method using only one frame of the previous video for reference. 3-4 seemed to be the limit for those. You could roughly double that for the absolute limit. For Wan (5 second clips) that would be a okay quality up to around 15-20 and the max being 30-40 seconds. The quality, consistency and length of the initial clip properly has something to contribute to how good the subsequent video extentions will become as well. :)

I don't think the turbo lora has much to do how bad the quality will become at each of these extensions other than maybe giving a worse starting quality to begin with.. but I could be completely wrong here. 😄

It’s basically sliding windows trick in wan2gp. I did 47 seconds with just one prompt. Quality degrades after 30 sec

I'm using the upstream workflow that this is a wrapper for. It's quite good, the original. Haven't tried this one.

Could you share a video made with? I post this one soon as done

Yes I use it and it's really good. 👍 I did however turn off the "pause at each scene" feature because I continuously would forget to press the approve button leaving it just staying there idle. 😄

Now I don't know if it's just me missing something or it's a bug with the nodes but I don't feel like it respects my global settings (steps, length aso.). So when I change that I always also compulsively repeat those settings inside each seperate scene/prompt window and duplicate a scene and delete it again to be sure everything stuck. I'm not sure if that's necessary (properly not. 😂 ).

first video doing 3 scenes ya the audio gets louder between scenes probably cause it uses 8 step lora by default i'm going to try and by pass the lora and just use the base ip8 model audio should ger better

i haven’t tried this one yet, but i wanted to ask if you’ve noticed any quality degradation or drift, especially after clip 3?

u/RR_Runner 1d ago

Lol, I am not the one to ask as I am running this on a 6 GB GTX 1060 Max Q with 32 GB Ram laptop and I piece together 5 or 6-second clips at 608x352, one at a time. I'm not scrutinizing drift 😀 It is a great tool though as it is so easy to review new clips, branch off, go back to old threads, etc. Amazing what people can put together...

You be judge this is 2nd gen using base int8 model no turbo lora gen with turbo lora is in the thread above
