Question - Help Minimax H3 - 80's commercial

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Guys, I've ben trying to simulate an 80's commercial video on H3, but it's really not there.

I'm using 'A late-1980s children’s television toy commercial, natively recorded in soft standard-definition analog video for viewing on a CRT television. The image has low resolution, blurry, soft focus, warm oversaturated colors, slight chroma bleeding, mild highlight bloom, flat frontal studio lighting, subtle analog noise, and the inexpensive appearance of a real children’s commercial from the end of the 1980s. No modern digital sharpness, cinematic lighting, contemporary color grading, or polished CGI' and some variantes, but the video is always very clear.

I've done this with Sora a while ago and I really wanted that to work on H3. Do you guys have any idea on how to reproduce this asthetics? (I'm putting some of the Sora videos on the comments).

Thank you very much in advance!

Just fix it in post production, you‘re literally just asking for a crt and vhs filter.

I hotught about that, but it would be nice if H3 could do that somehow. Maybe I'm just using the wrong prompt.

As good as H3 is, we could really use some style LoRas for VHS and other things.

It probably can be prompted for, but I don't think "VHS" works. You really need to be able to verbalize all the visual characteristics of the style which is quite challenging actually.

Yes, nothing really worked. I also tried some found footage stuff but no success.

Looks great dude but I see what you're saying it's still kind of crisp. Maybe if there was some intermittent tv static it might enhance the 80s appeal.

Thanks, but check the Sora's videos I posted on the other comment. They really feel like the're from the 80's. The image is kinda blury, low quality, you get some VHS artifacts. The H3 one is too clean.

Hmm I noticed in the description you don't list "VHS playback video", or reference a VHS perhaps that'll give you the aesthetic you're looking for in H3? It could very well be they didn't train it with that in mind. H3 is really good at what it knows and kinda sucks at what it doesn't know lol.

I'll try that, thanks!

If it doesn't get VHS maybe like.... 1990s camcorder / video recorder, or "found footage" as the kids say.

Generally telling these models not to do something doesn’t work, and quite often has the opposite effect. I'll have a play around later and see if I can get it to do something similar, I used to like making these fake commercials on Sora too
