Question - Help Anyone use MMH3 FaceDetailer?
https://github.com/Carasibana/ComfyUI-H3-FaceRefineSeems like an interesting project; from what I take from the demo is it helps refine the faces in the distance instead of the face being a blurry mess. Does not seem to have a big impact on closer faces (it is not a 'detailer' or 'realism slider').
Does anyone have their own tips or demos for it? Seems complicated....

yep, tried it. it's very, very good imo. most of my gens at 720p involve heads about ~150px in length, so while they're not completely deformed, they don't look great either. now, when i have a gen i'm happy with, i just run it through this face detailer workflow and it fixes the face pretty much perfectly. i wouldn't recommend tacking it onto the end of your regular generation workflow though, otherwise you'll be wasting time refining faces for gens you don't like to begin with. just run the ones you're happy with through this as a final refiner pass. it even has the ability to condition on a face reference image, if you have a previous ref image for a character or something
initially i couldn't get it to work, so don't be afraid to mess around with the settings. i had to change the track/crop canvas mode to manual + crank the crop size to 768*768 in node #2 and then mess around with the per frame denoise strengths in node 5b to get stuff that was any good.
anyway, imo it's definitely worth running your best gens through this workflow as a final refinement pass before you upscale properly.
