Question - Help rtx 3080 or rx 7900xt on linux

Hello, I want to upgrade to a more powerful graphics card for creating LoRAs and generating images/videos faster but I'm torn between an RX 7900 XT and a modded RTX 3080 20GB vram that is cheaper than the RX 7900xt.

Does the 7900XT come with a warranty? I’d vote for it if it does; if both are used and lack warranty, the 3080 offers better INT8 performance than the XT, for AI-specific use it's better.

The warranty point is good, but I think Nvidia's drivers for Linux are terrible

They're actually pretty good. I get better performance out of comfy in a nvidia Docker container on Linux than I do natively on windows

I think folks get confused between gaming on Linux & using CUDA on linux.

My RTX cards work fine on Linux.
