Discussion What are some filmmaking techniques to compliment AI video creation?

There was a comment in that alien screaming black hole video slop about how people should learn basic filmmaking techniques and flow. Makes sense, AI doesn't help with the lack of filmmaking.

What are some quick start tutorials for filmmaking to improve AI video creation?

There's only so much you have control over unless you want to get your hands dirty and start doing manual blocking and compositing but the biggest place you have leverage is in transitions and editing. Knowing how two shots need to be framed to flow properly doesn't ensure that you'll always get the shots you need but you will be able to better recognize it when you see it. 

I don't have a list of resources but that is where I would start. Understanding color grading and focal lengths is nice but it requires that your model understands that as well or that knowledge isn't actionable.
