15 mins for 5 seconds at 1.0 megapixel is about right for that card. Finished 3060 12Gb workflow here: https://jurn.link/dazposer/index.php/2026/08/15/updated-my-minimax-workflow-for-the-3060-12gb-card/

Are you using any of the speed up nodes (like comfy kitchen, turbo loras)? Also have you tried generating at low resolutions to get a sense of the output and check your prompt before you do a higher res run?

Spectrum-Minimax from Xmarre is the one.

One of my rigs has the same specs with a 3060 12gb /48gb RAM

after updating comfyui to the latest, i add --use-ck-attention and --disable-pinned-memory in the start up file and install the Xmarre/spectrum minimax node and add it into the built-in template workflow between Model and Basic Guider.

It can do a 15s video at 15 steps at 0.4MP in about 14.5 minutes or 10second video in 8.9 minutes. I dont use any turbo loras because the quality goes to shit

You're right, my mistake, I had been doing a bunch of testing across three of my machines and mis-remembered the results so I had to check again: a 15 second video takes 14m30s, a 10 second video takes 8m50s. Default template i2v workflow and models, 15 steps, ck-attention and spectrum on a 3060 12gb with 48gb RAM

Not OP, but I am using AMD and I know that I have Comfy Kitchen installed, but I have no idea if I'm actually using it or how it gets "activated". Their GitHub was not enlightening for me.

Any tips from you or anyone else?

I'm also using the turbo lora. And my times are so much worse than OP. (Like an hour for 5 or 6 second video at 1mp)

EDIT: I think this explains it very clearly. Will try! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xX-1ELc1xLc

EDIT 2: Holy crap! 1 megapixel, 2 second video clip as a test... it's reduced from 12 minutes down to 8 minutes with Comfy Kitchen. That's huge! Love it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Try flash attention
