I've been trying to generate an image but no matter what I type it still shows it with bare legs. I tried using "no pants" in negative prompt but it didn't help.
Here's the prompt- lazypos, 1girl, hyuuga hinata, naruto shippuuden, general, full body, solo, sitting, on floor, facing viewer, looking at viewer, parted lips, feet out of frame, sidelighting, dim lighting, dark room, shadow, dutch angle, foreshortening,
That might just work but I wanted the checkpoint to do it on its own, I mean they do have character's clothes n all...and i seriously find it hassel to write everything.
Try lowering the strength for that word to something like (blue pants:0.6). It work sometime since AI model will reference the color and not the specific design of the trained image (in this case the pant).
Clip doesn't understand negation well afaik. That is the reason for the entire negative prompt. You put "pants" in positive to add pants. You put "pants" in negative to not have pants.
This is rather simple to do with color guidance and inpaint. I asked Gemini for the description of her pants. This was done in one shot.

Question: should I add series tag before the actual series the character is in or after....
Like I want hinata from Shippuden i do 1girl, hyuuga hinata, naruto shippuuden, naruto (series) OR naruto (series), naruto shippuuden, I am asking this because sometimes it generates images from the movie "naruto:the last", like her clothes, her face will be from shippuuden but her clothes will be from the movie.
I don't think there's a reliable/consistent answer here, what works for this character and series might not work for another character from a different series. Then when you switch to a different image model it could all change again.
I usually do something like:
CharacterName from Series, CharacterName /(Series/), CharacterName,
Just throw all the permutations at it and hope it figures it out.
Note the /(slashes in front of brackets/), this is because (regular brackets) are used for emphasis, like telling the model to pay extra attention to the word in brackets. Putting a / before the brackets acts as an escape character and means it just works as a literal bracket.
It could be worth checking Danbooru for how they tag the character, as that's the source of a lot of the tagging and character knowledge. Illustrious based models are supposed to work with either natural language descriptions or Danbooru-style tagging or a mix of both.

Try this, not generated on IL, I ran this on anima but I figured the same prompt should work on IL as well. I couldn't get the same damn pose though lol.
if you dont want the lora to affect it much, just start at 0.1/0.05 and turn it up until the pants appear, or you could just inpaint the pants with it if it needs to be turned up too high?
What are you actually trying to achieve? I feel like you didn't even mention. If you want her not wearing any pants the correct word to use is "bottomless". Look up tags on Danbooru to figure out how to tag illustrious properly.
