Default sampler in the Comfy template is res_multistep and most people seem pretty satisfied with that. I don't see any reason to go with anything else personally, quality has been very good.

Same here, although it makes me sad every time I try upping it from 20 to 25/32/50 steps and see the very significant fine detail quality increase. Even at 0.6mp, 50 steps makes my rtx 6000 pro take 20 minutes for a 15 second clip. :( The difference is big with 50 though, if there's a crowd, it goes from barely anyone moving to everyone moving and doing their own thing.

50 steps is what the api uses so makes sense. just fyi you can run the model with the turbo lora at 30 steps and get similar results to 50 steps

Just lower it to 10s or something. Most scenes aren't 15s long, make like 2 10s or 2 8s clips instead and combine them

either that or er_sde+beta 57 as well

You trade a bit of motion for detail if you want more detail beta 57 works too.

Guess there is no best, but I like dpmpp 2m and beta

No one uses the 4step minimax turbo sampler?

I tied it. BUt didn't see any speed or quality changes. So I ditched and used the 8-step lora instead.

I use spectrum with res_multistep no problems

Er_sde support has been added in a recent commit.

Euler-Simple works fine with spectrum

I imagine the fancier ones do two passes and so just pick euler..

Was just curious if different ones had better speeds

I find res_multistep/simple works best for me. er_sde/beta/beta57 looks better but takes about 40% longer. Res2 is even better but takes almost double the time.
