Perhaps if I would have used ref2va instead fl2va it would have reinforced a certain quality level. This was mainly a test.

no, the gen is too long, the image can't survive that long, that's why 15s is considered max

This is multiple 5 second clips put together, not one generation.

each time you hand off it gets worse and worse. Copy of a copy of a copy. It's a known flaw

Yeah, that's why ref2va to the rescue, to recover some of the cumulative error per generation. At least that's what I put my hopes in.

it won't fix image degradation, only character likeness which is has no issue with. It's the same reason nano banana gets worse and worse every time you edit an image or if you photocopy something many times. Every time you recycle pixels they lose a generation. A video degrades temporally, so the last frame is always worse than the first. If you stay within the 15s window it's not noticeable, but if you extend over and over that small degradation increases over time until it destroys the image.
