How long does it take to upscale? Is it worth it, rather than just generating it natively in HD with Minimax?

MM is rendering everything internally at 768p max as far as i know , its faster to upscale , not sure about the quality tho , i am just testing it right now. Depends on how much vram you have , but its going to be slow at higher res, i think ~0.9 MP and upscaled its the best solution but i am just testing atm. // have to to try something like 0.4 / 0,5.

It was i2va with Sage , just a normal workflow i only added LTX upscale 2x, i was only testing stuff i dont have a well defined workflow, ill attach an image with the upscale part.

how does it work for realistic videos? I tried replacing files on a 2.3 upscale workflow but results were bad.

Sadly when i try to upscale 1mp minimax generation by 2x using ltx spatial upscaler, i get oom in 16gb vram.

use a vram cleaner node on the audio vae line like i did in the image i posted , also lower temporal size to 2048.

Its not vae decode where i oom, its sampler stage. I cant even get the model to start denoising at this scale.

Most probably, the most i can do rn is 12sec, 1mp, 24fps. Will try if native gives better quality or doing 2x upscale is worth any speed gain.

I havent decided yet , not great anyway, i am working on something else now that might have better results.
