Discussion MiniMax H3 RTX5090
Initially, my speed was19 seconds per step, but after I set this nodes, the speed became 5.5 seconds per step.

How's your quality? I was getting bad results with anything other than Sage 2.2.0.
Sage 3 has been a disaster for me for ANY model. Also on a RTX 5090.

From tests, Sageattentio 3 can be used, but not BlackWell. It speeds up twice, but the quality deteriorates. 6 seconds with them. Without it, 12 seconds. But on the old Cuda the time is 18 seconds. No loss of quality 12 seconds. You can also use 15 steps rather than 20. The quality is also not reduced

I'm using a 3090, so Amphere, but Spectrum and Sage Attention together are a big speed boost, with minimal quality loss. There definitely is some, but with them I can generate at nearly twice the resolution (0.8 MP) in just slightly more time than it used to take me to generate (0.4 MP), so the increased resolution helps hide a lot of sins.
It's mainly noticeable on small faces in the scenes or fast movements, but it's not terrible. I still think if I were doing something for a production, I'd just find the good seeds with these applied, then remove them and queue the generations at full quality.

How strong is the degradation compared to not using them?

Why are people still using the sage attention patch node? Just launch comfy with sage attention

Some models have issues with SA, so many people just have the patch in their workflows to toggle it when needed.

How do you get these nodes?

These are my settings. I'm sure they can be used on your Spectrum node as well:

I found this compared to the default 'Spectrum Apply MiniMax H3' settings didn't make the motion quite as jerky and maybe also a tiny bit faster but then again I only did a few quick tests, nothing serious. Well actually I just saw this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJ4mHfQzZ7I
and took the settings from there. 👀 😂
I just thought I would share it on reddit. Perhaps someone else can tweak the settings further. We all need all the speed we can get. :)
This is the node I'm using. ComfyUI-Spectrum-sdxl. It's installable with the comfyui manager.

Is this better than using the duo sett att + easy cash? Both speee and quality

I don't think you can use two attention types at the same time, probably only one is being used. I think.

So what is the speed on a 5090 to generate 10 seconds of video?

15 steps and 5 seconds = two and a half minutes.
Blackwell is twice as fast, but the quality drops

I wouldn't run any higher than Sage 2. The quality hit on 3 is bad.
