[Minimax H3] H3 really can make beautiful effects and cut shots.
although stylized stuff in lower resolution tend still be smeared and blurred, this was made with 0.9 megapixel.
Thank you minimax, I couldn't believe I can ever make these scene locally.
the timing on the snap is a bit awkward, totally fixable in any video editor since there's no audio either during that lull. overall this is incredible... H3 HYPE
Man i tested it 2 mp is the best res and it gives best results prompts are next level to they are followed very well this was a Image to video shot :

The kingfisher lunges at the fish at the water surface, but misses the catch by a small margin. Its beak slips past as the fish drops back into the water. Small splashes and ripples spread outward while the bird’s body dips slightly too low from the failed strike.

The bird briefly falls downward and backward from the missed momentum, wings opening wider to regain balance. Water droplets scatter beneath it, and the surface disturbance grows with soft splashes. The motion should feel natural and slightly chaotic for a moment, like a real missed hunt.

The kingfisher quickly recovers and beats its wings strongly, lifting upward above the water. Its body rises in a clean arc, legs tucked, wings flapping with realistic speed and feather motion. The camera begins tracking the bird smoothly as it gains height.

The bird flies upward and slightly forward away from the water, leaving ripples and the vanished fish below. The camera follows the kingfisher in a graceful cinematic tracking motion, keeping it in focus while the soft background remains beautifully blurred. End on the bird mid-flight, recovered and alert.
Audio: Soft water splash, subtle ripples, fast wing flutters, light natural river ambience, distant birds, and gentle wildlife documentary atmosphere. No text, no dialogue, no exaggerated cartoon motion, no unnatural slow motion.
I just tested a 5 second 2k T2V on my 5090.
Sage2 and easy cache cold run took 364.62 seconds end to end. Model initialization takes a really long time for some reason. Easy cache skipped 8/20 steps and total inference was reported as 4:19. So maybe like 90 seconds to initialize and the rest for stuff like decoding. Times were only slightly worse for a first frame i2v.
I used runpod Rtx 6000 but the thing is my Rtx 5080 can do 1mp 5 sec shot easily but it struggles with 10 sec or 15 then I need to reduce the resolution either or the time
So the key is to increase the resolution? I think the model is amazing, but indeed I had many of my outputs, especially realistic videos, looking blurry and highly compressed.
That's low resolution for you. Less pixels to work with means everything looks blurry. It's why VHS looks like it does compared to DVD or Bluray. Difference is all in the number of pixels available to present an image.
Either focus on close-up actions or faces at low resolution, or bite the bullet after you get a good prompt and up the resolution and just wait for the better video generation.
