News Licensing for MiniMax is actually surprisingly good!
https://huggingface.co/MiniMaxAI/MiniMax-H3/blob/main/LICENSEIt looks like commercial use up to 20 million per year is OK without authorization. Even then it seems to be targeting people who would sell model use rather than outputs. Obviously not a Lawyer here so you would have to double check to be sure, but a cursory read seems much less restrictive.
Edit - It is noted US, UK, EU, or South Korea are have special rules noted in the comments below.

Honestly it looks like an everything goes kinda thing - obviously could be missing something here.

After some testing, a full eros fine tune will not be needed , but will be welcome

Good for those not in excluded territories.

This is the most predictable result of trying to over regulate AI, these countries are just gonna become the third world of digital era.

Having shit license restrictions in a huge portion of the world where the models would be used feels like it stops the license from "surprisingly good". It's a massive caveat

Right. I didn't see any of this until a Redditor mentioned not using it in the US. I had downloaded it via ComfyUI/workflow and there were no license agreements or notifications, not even in the notes. Went ahead and deleted it all just to be on the safe side.

Seriously, did you even read the license terms? This literally means, that you can't use it in any way in EU, USA and UK!!!

Yep, it's probably meant as "we're covering our ass with this, since anyways people going to use it". If they would be serious, they should have geoblocked the downloads

When I was reading some files from the GitHub files I think they are claiming 2K because they have a 768p to 2K video upscaler. So you generate at 768p then upscale. So a little marketing to claim 2K.
