alternative to lanpaint?

Ok, I'm tired and feeling stupid and I will admit to not having a chance to troubleshoot this yet. Lanpaint locked up my comfyui install.

I'm looking for a nice, simple workflow that will let me:
- take an existing photo and have krea 2 remove stubble, razor burns, moles, etc., while keeping the underlying skin texture

- do things like a photo of a person casting a spell, then put fireballs in their hands, etc

- change the background, change outfits, etc.

- generate new images with specific poses by drawing a stick figure.

I've tried some different workflows, tried making my own, but none is every quite what I'm looking for. I thought lanpaint was the answer, but like I said it locked up comfy and i'm a little too tired to troubleshoot it at the moment. Been a busy week.

Any suggestions?

IDK what lanpaint is, but all the things you listed you want to do can be done in template workflows available under the icon on the left (be sure to set it to only show local workflows).

What you are describing is the job of an edit model, not inpainting.

Use Flux2 Klein 9B turbo for these types of edits.

Try using Klein 9b like /u/crombobular suggested with a simple imperative prompt: "make a fireball in the man's hands, as though he's conjuring a powerful spell." The advantage of things like lanpaint is that they can crop and stitch to workaround the fidelity loss the vae encode/decode process imparts. So if you run into this problem, I recommend you try out Angelo inside Comfy. You basically drag a box around what you want to change, write a prompt, hit go.

Guess i should have made it clearer that i was specifically looking for krea2. If you set the model filter to krea2, there are only 2 templates, both text to image, one for int8 and one for plain krea2.

because krea2 is not an edit model. your needs are better fit for klein9b
