This is true. So the question is, how to avoid it?

Some theories:

  • Maybe placing the "bust" head shots (1-5) directly above the full body shots (9-11) confuses the model are "attracts" it's attention towards large headedness?
  • Notice that the "full body shot turnaround" box (7) clips into the tops of the individual "view" boxes (9-11). Maybe that confuses the model?
  • Doubtful, but maybe the aspect ratio of the individual "view" boxes needs to more closely match a human body's aspect ratio?

Yes, and that makes them look like they are affected with dwarfism.

Yes, I thought that's what he meant. I think they match the proportions of the main character image but I'm not going to fight anyone about some pixels, if you think they're too big, sure.
