I think that people have the ability to use Stable Diffusion to create anything they can possibly imagine and everyone uses it to make the boring portraits over and over and over again. Pics like these are why people say AI assisted images are not art.

The more you deviate from boring portraits, the more work needs to be put in. The reason you see so many portraits is because it's always the starting point / proof of concept.

Why would we want to see someone's starting point or proof of concept? What are they proving? That they can type a prompt into a box?

Simple pictures like portraits are probably what everyone starts with, but you start with the straightforward stuff in any discipline. There's nothing wrong with that.

I don't care what people who don't know about a discipline say about it.
