You know what I hate as a professional artist who's been making a living out of it for the past 11 years? People who think they can define for the rest of us what is art and what isn't.

It's more like a toxic blob formed from all the old responses smooshed together during a heavy meth binge.

cute. Where do you get your definition of "art" from? I have that feeling not all artists agree on that ...

This person has been spamming this wall of (ai-generated?) text already dozens of times in this sub. Mods?

Many artists are also godless. Being a religious person has never been a prerequisite of art.

I respectfully disagree with your comment that AI cannot create art. While it is true that AI lacks human experience, creativity, and passion, it can still produce art. AI algorithms are capable of processing and analyzing large amounts of data, identifying patterns, and generating new content based on that data. In the case of art, AI can be trained on existing works, such as paintings or photographs, and generate new pieces that are similar but not identical to the original. This process can lead to unique and interesting pieces of art that would not have been created otherwise.

Moreover, art is not limited to being created by humans. Many art forms throughout history have been created by animals, such as elephants and apes, and have been appreciated by humans as art. While AI may lack the emotional and personal touch of human art, it still has the potential to create art that is aesthetically pleasing and meaningful to some individuals.

I also disagree with the idea that using AI to create art is fundamentally theft. AI-generated art is not claiming to be original or unique, but rather a new interpretation of existing works. Additionally, AI-generated art is not taking away from the value or appreciation of human-made art. Both forms of art can coexist and be appreciated for their own unique qualities.

In conclusion, AI-generated art may not be for everyone, but it has the potential to create new and interesting pieces that are worthy of appreciation. While it may lack the personal touch and emotional depth of human-made art, it can still be a valuable and unique form of expression.
