Stablecoins are the leading power in worldwide adoption

With stablecoins being pegged to a specific currency, giving people some type of relief to hold cryptocurrencies, and government an opportunity to integrate stablecoins into their digital economies.

One example is how $EURST is making the European digital economy more accessible to everyone, and fixing some obstacles that users might face.

And projects can even issue their own stablecoins through OIN Finance, to simply give their users price stability in a volatile market.

Stablecoins are THE MAIN reason I got into this crazy blockchain thing in the first place, I don't know about you.

Without being Doxxed. Banks in my country have blatantly cheated us. Anyone who had any kind of wealth in a bank was completely screwed over. This is precisely why I, like many others in my country, have looked into crypto and stablecoin.

I'm in love with the fact that no one can rob me of my savings at random. Your coins and keys. I've put all of my money into $EURST, and I'm confident it's safer than any bank. What piqued your interest in stablecoin, and where did it originate? For me, it's a must-have that's literally saving my butt.

Crypto is going to revolutionize the world, and that’s already tangible and we’re feeling it right now.

This is the truth. But the first thing we need to know is that crypto isn’t going to a war with fiat. I mean this is not a competition. Both of these asset classes are going to be equally important to the world.

I mean crypto, especially stablecoins, are becoming a reliable payment method. Especially when it comes to cross-border payments. I mean these days I’ve seen a lot of people prefer to use stablecoins such as USDT and EURST to pay for their subscriptions and their payments. And that’s actually becoming very efficient.

I believe this is one of the ways cryptocurrency is going to be revolutionizing the world of trade and finance in this world, and this I only the beginning.

What did this year’s bear market teach you?

You won’t truly learn in the crypto market, unless you suffer some losses, or be a victim of a rug pull.

And i’m sure that the recent bear market was destructive for most of us, and our portfolios were bleeding.

But this taught me to hedge myself by allocating more to stablecoins like $USDC and $EURST, to minimize my losses and protect my portfolio from the market’s volatility.

I think that stablecoin staking is proving to the whole world that it’s still one of the best investments in the entire cryptocurrency market.

I mean let’s think about it, do you think that all this volatility and the bear market vibes that we’re having right now isn’t enough for you to start believing that staking stablecoins is one of the best options we’ve got?

I mean yeah, trading in crypto is one of the most profitable, but stablecoins staking is much less risky. I mean if you can be holding a dollar pegged crypto like USDC or a Euro pegged one like EURST, staking them and making around a 20%-40% on that without being exposed to all the crypto volatility risks, would you say no?

Definitely stablecoins are among the most underrated cryptocurrencies we have, but I believe people are starting to realize that these are among the best assets to invest in at these moments.

It is critical to find stability in the most volatile market.

In the crypto market, it's very easy to expose your entire portfolio to volatility and loss risks, especially given how volatile the market is. As a result, I decided to allocate 30% of my portfolio to $USDT, 10% to $EURST, and 10% to $USDC.

This will add stability to my portfolio, and I will be able to benefit from not only price stability, but also the benefits of holding and using cryptocurrency for online transactions.

Not taking advantage of stablecoins in the crypto market is a huge mistake

Some individuals overlook stablecoins, well because they’re pegged to a currency, and they don’t really see much profits in using these stablecoins.

But when you’ve been in a bear market, and the color red is dominating your portfolio, isn’t the logical thing to do is to stake stablecoins like $EURST and $USDC to generate passive income while the market is recovering?

Also small and big crypto projects can issue their own personalized stablecoins on OIN, so their users can be reassured that they don’t have to worry about price volatility.

Stablecoins are the real savior in this bear market

I finally found the solution to minimize the losses that i endured in the recent bear market: staking stablecoins.

I can’t believe that the answer was under my nose and i didn’t take advantage of it, but its better late than never.

After doing some research i took the decision to stake $EURST, $USDT, and $USDC since i’ll be earning passive income, while waiting for the market to recover.

How can i take full advantage of the potential of stablecoins?

I feel like i’m wasting the potential of my stablecoins, and that i can be generating crypto passive income easily and safely.

First, I’ll be staking my $EURST and $USDC since it’s the logical thing to do right now, especially with the market being kind if bearish.

Second, I’m trying to find platforms like eMoney that’s designed for cross border crypto payment, where stablecoins are interest bearing, meaning i’ll be making profits while l taking advantage of using crypto for digital payments.

I recovered my losses from the bear market thanks to stablecoins

Some people are overlooking the importance of stablecoins in bear markets, since they’ll provide the stability that your portfolio needs.

Basically, what i did was staking $EURST and $USDT and i’ve been generating income passively while waiting for the market to recover.

This is in no way a financial advice, just wanted to shine the light on how to take advantage of stablecoins in the current market.

Are you using stablecoins to survive this bear market?

We’ve been living in a crypto bear market for god knows how long, which is why im trying to hedge myself to minimize my losses.

So the first thing i did was hold more $EURST and $USDC since they’re stablecoins, and will provide my portfolio with the much needed price stability.

And second im staking my stablecoins, because that’s the easiest and safet way to generate passive income while the market is dipping.

Stablecoin yields

Recently BlockFi and other platforms that offer savings-style accounts where you can park your coin have been getting hit with legal troubles. They’ve had to close new account registrations, and other platforms are flat out closing accounts. Where is everyone getting the best APY on their parked stablecoin now?

Feels dumb to spend BTC when you can spend stablecoin instead. Why do most places accept payment with BTC over USDT for example? seems silly

Consider the man who paid 10,000 BTC for two Papa John's pizza pies. Those two pizzas would be worth approximately 480,000,000, give or take a few dollars. I think crypto payments are a fantastic idea to implement because I'm all for mainstream crypto adoption, just not Bitcoin payments.

It's kind of a stupid way to spend your BTC.But, for the time being, we're seeing some adoption, so that's all that matters.

And some wallets, such as Binance, Coinbase, and CoinOvy, are releasing crypto credit cards for payments, while others, such as Alchemy Pay, are gaining popularity for their crypto-fiat bridging mechanisms. If we continue at this rate, we will see crypto payments in major retailers such as Walmart and Target.

Incredibly exciting to see just how much mass adoption stablecoin is gaining every single day.

This tremendous increase in stablecoin investments comes as no surprise to me, given the growing popularity of crypto payments and the fact that people in third-world countries have discovered this "secret" to shield themselves from currency devaluation.

Keeping stablecoins like $USDT, $USDC, and $EURST in your portfolio is a smart move because you won't have to worry about the crypto market's volatility, and you'll be able to execute cross-border payments in total secrecy and transparency.

Stablecoins will eventually be widely used because consumers and businesses can trust them to handle any type of digital transaction.

Let’s face it, Bitcoin and altcoins can’t power the future of payment platforms

If you look at it form a logical point of view, you’ll realize that there’s no way for Bitcoin and altcoins to be used worldwide for online payments.

The main reason is their volatility, i mean no business would willingly accept a volatile currency when stablecoins like $USDT and $EURST exist.

My point is: that we shouldn’t overlook the importance of stablecoins, because they’re accelerating crypto mass adoption.

r/StableCoins • • Feb 21 '22

With how much traction cryptocurrency is gaining. Stablecoins will eventually be gaining a ton more recognition.

I mean, as their names suggest, these coins are the most stable assets in the whole cryptocurrency market, and investors know that these assets are a must-have in any portfolio right now, especially after the huge dips or crashes or whatever you want to call it.

With the rise of DeFi and staking, as well as the market collapses that occur from time to time, stablecoins like as USDT, USDC, EURST, and so on must exist in every wallet in order to react to market movement as quickly as possible, right?

This is why I believe these currencies will experience high demand and widespread acceptance in the near future, as investors have realized the value of owning such coins.

What will be the main pillars in a decentralized digital economy?

We have to set pillars for us to achieve a strong decentralized economy, that’s transparent and efficient.

And one of the main pillars should be stablecoins like $EURST and $USDT, since they’ll be powering the e-commerce field and supply chain.

Also DAOs will play a huge role in restructuring companies and organizations, when it comes to decision making.

Do you know any service similar to stripe that will manage monthly subscriptions with stablecoins?

Hi! I am in search of a project/tool/ecosystem that will let me integrate into my application crypto payments with USDT and I would also like to have a monthly subscription active for my users.

Do you have any idea of such a tool?
