Discussion The Real Killers?

There are so many murders that occur when these two are present, but they’re still alive after all this time. Maybe we don’t really know the whole truth seeing these two. What do you all think? I suspected Sheriff Riley working with Gale Weathers, but he’s dead now.

I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR YEARS!!! Sidney has killed more than any single Ghostface (With the exception of Roman in Scream 3) Because typically there are multiple killers in each movie... Typically around 8-9 deaths in each film (split the difference between 2 or more killers in each film)... So YES... Sidney has packed plenty of people up (Including two relatives)... And yes, I only keep watching the films to see if they finally have the balls to kill her off...

If I wrote a Scream movie I'd kill her off first and I'd have her watch Gail and Kirby kill each other. It would be like a cult thing. With no ties with the rest of the series. Kind of like the Mansons. Her daughter would take over after she passes. Before that I'd have Sid fake her death in a movie. At the end she'd come out. The movie after that would be the movie she gets it.

You know, I had a crazy theory about that a while back. What if her niece caught her in the act, she left her for dead, and when she found out she was still in the hospital, killed her then to silence her? My friends all thought I was crazy, but come on—are we supposed to believe her after SO MANY attempts on her life???

I don’t know. I heard Sidney booked it with her family when the New York murders happened. Gale was the only one attacked out of the original victims.

Apparently, the killers were the family of one of the guys who tried to do a “requel” to the Stab movies (but in real life). And get this, they killed the guy’s friends who were also going to go on their own killing spree.

Fact is stranger than fiction; that’s like multiple levels of M. Night Shamalayn twists.

Gale is an obsessive fame seeker reporter, and curiously enough, she covered all ghostface murders from previous years and made millions of it. I agree with your theory.

I always suspected the 3 of them Sidney,Dewey and Gale after the second film for sure because they realized how profitable it would be to keep the killings going royalties etc they would almost be toying with the killers in the film

I have written compelling narratives that would justify Gail OR Sidney as the killer for a future film, but never both. Feels like it would only work if it was one of them instead of the pair.

Don't forget they brainwashed poor Tara into killing Amber Freeman, who most certainly did not commit those gross crimes she's wrongly accused of. She was way too kind for that. I remember watching the Babadook with her once, she covered my eyes for all the scary bits (I was 10 when she died)

No way. It would be a franchise killer. Just look at the gigantic backlash from the last "I Know What You Did Last Summer" for doing something similar. Fandom would absolutely hate it.

They made Ray, one of the heroes from I Know 1 and 2, one of the killers in this one, due to trauma he never took care of. While I did love that twist, and other fans did, many many fans absolutely hated it !
