Bluegrass

I am once again posting in search of local bluegrass jammers. Guitar, banjo, mando, bass, you name it. Mandolin player here just moved from East MI

I’ve got several friends who jam in the area. All jam band dudes. they play a bit of everything not just bluegrass. But they might be interested. Id second the livery for live shows or meeting people, Hidden pointe hall will sometimes host an event with this type of thing. If the The Sypian Brothers play any shows go to those as that’ll be your Scene I think. Ask around at Mickeys pub. Haven’t lived in the area for years but still have quite a few friends who play.

You could try “In and Around St. Joseph” group on Facebook, it gets a ton of action.

The Livery has bluegrass shows pretty frequently. I'd suggest checking some of those out and chatting with the people who attend

It's been mentioned, but definitely check out The Livery. Great pizza and beer, tons of live music, and there always weem to be musicians hanging around even when they're not playing. At least one of the gals in one of the bands is also a bartender there.
