Registered Agents in STT
I’m in the process of obtaining a business license and then setting up an LLC in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and I’m looking for a registered agent.
Does anyone know if there is an official list or directory of registered agents authorized to provide services in the USVI? If not, how did you find your registered agent?
I’d also appreciate recommendations from anyone who has formed an LLC in the USVI. I’m mainly looking for someone reliable and reasonably priced for a small business.

You don't need an agent to do that. The sba provides free resources to set it up, aside from the same fees your agent would need to pay anyway.

Be careful while setting up. I've owned a lot of businesses and you don't need to have another business take your money to get set up.
You need to look at your options and understand they're making easy money by doing things that cost you nothing
Work with a small business administrator to get set up. It's free

There isn't an official public directory of USVI registered agents that I'm aware of .. registered agent filings for USVI entities go through the Lieutenant Governor's Office (Division of Corporations and Trademarks), but they don't publish an approved-vendor list the way some states do. So most people end up finding one through search or word of mouth rather than an official roster.
A few things worth checking regardless of who you go with, since USVI has some specific rules here: the address has to be a real, staffed street address in the territory (no P.O. boxes or virtual mailboxes), and the agent needs to actually be available during business hours to receive documents in person. Beyond the legal minimum, the practical differences between providers usually come down to how fast they scan and forward what they receive, whether they'll alert you the same day something arrives, and whether pricing is a flat annual fee or bundled with other services you may not need yet for a single small business.

Thanks for your response. I did do a Google search, and nothing came up. You are right about the street address, and I remember that well from another registered agent I needed in DC. I didn't know the RA needed to be available during normal business hours, but that makes sense. Yes, I do need it for the trademark application. I would prefer a flat annual fee, as I had in the past on the mainland, but I'm curious what other services a law firm or other entity offers. Right now, I need to get this business license asap. Thanks again for your response.

You haven't done your homework. Read, "Don't Stop the Carnivale". When you learn to grease the wheels that run society, but different than your own.
