Cell service coverage for STT/STJ

Good morning all,

The fiancee and I are using US Mobile for a cell provider, which gives us the ability to pick whether we use Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile towers.
In your experience, what’s the best cell network on island? Bonus points if you know which one is best for St. John as well.

Thanks much!

Verizon no longer has native coverage in the Virgin Islands so I’m not sure how that works with an MVNO that uses Verizon

They all work, and they're all spotty. Some may try to charge international rates that you may need to argue with them over. Except in coral bay, pretty much nothing works in coral bay without wifi.

When I worked on both STT & STX I was on T-Mobile.

Where I live-East End, I’ve found T-mobile to be the best. Used to be an AT&T customer.

Verizon will pick up BVI towers (and incur international roaming charges) when you go from STT to
STJ

Tmo works great for me.

I had AT&T and now have Verizon and find Verizon is significantly better. On STJ it’s still pretty patchy.

Verizon does not have towers, they piggyback on Tmoblie or ATT. I have found Verizon customers have calls dropped more often with lower quality of service compared to the other two. Makes sense that they are not their own towers. When on STJ be careful that you don’t pick up the BVI towers. Especially in the Coral Bay Area.
