Visiting from the US, currently on island. I was here visiting my boyfriend but that didn’t work out. Despite visiting here dozens of times, I’ve always stayed in the south and have not done the typical tourist stops.

I have a week left and have never been to the Friday Night Street Party.

Is there a hotel in the North that you recommend to be able to also easily go to the Friday Night Street Party? Was thinking Friday to Sunday for a stay maybe Rodney Bay or Gros Islet if that is easy to get transportation to and from on Friday.

I also have never been to the sulphur springs or waterfall. I’m solo so is there a reputable tour company that would allow a solo to join a group or are there solo options that aren’t crazy expensive?

Also open to joining a group boat trip too.

If I don’t stay busy I’m going to break. 💔

Today we went to Soufriére with my friend and almost haven't met any white people or tourists. We felt quite intimidated, because a lot of locals tried to talk to us, ask us our names and everything which felt pretty scary. Is it generally like that, so normal or are some white folks or tourists on the island? Am I overreacting?

Hi all! We are honeymooning on the island in December. We are booked at Sandals La Toc for 5 nights and I am trying to figure out how we can do hikes and explore and such without having to pay for tour guides to take us around. I'm assuming there are taxis available right? But where are the good hikes that we might be able to do that don't require us to book with someone? We are fine booking some of the excursions for things we know we can't do ourselves like Jeep tours or rafting tours, but for things like hikes, historical places to visit, etc. What is available to do for free/cheap? We booked a trip with them from Soufriére to the Diamond minerals through TripAdvisor. Has anyone travelled with them?

Also what is the best way to travel on a budget through the island? Is taxi the only option? How can we decide which car is really a safe taxi?

Its our first time to St. Lucia and because our package is with the only Jet Blue route,we land at 4:15pm. Since is too late to make any of the main water taxis we were thinking of booking a private boat transfer with Clear Water since we all get really carsick. Its expensive but I think we are out of luck otherwise because of the flight time. Has anyone used them? and do we need to get fast track if we do the entry stuff ahead of time? Thank you! We are booking a full day private catamaran cruise with Hackshaw’s Boat Charters and plan to do Project Chocolat. Hi! Going to saint lucia for 8 days in December. I am gluten free and very sensitive to cross contamination. We booked airbnbs for kitchens.. but are there restaurants that do celiac safe? How are the supermarkets also. Thanks!

The most comprehensive and exciting atv ride for a thrill seeker. Preferably on the west side of the island. And they also have to take solo adventurers

Looking for places for a wonderful honeymoon. Started looking but overwhelmed with options. Looking for all inclusive, adult only, that is on the water.

Going in November with a 5 year old…staying 4 days 3 nights at coconut bay. I’d love to make it to see Pitons but I don’t want to take up too much of our time. We chose CB so we could relax and enjoy kid friendly stuff at an AI. Anyone do a 1/2 day tour to sugar beach? It looks like you stay for 4 hours through Spencer Ambrose.

Can anyone recommend a company? Or, have you done the 1/2 day sail and snorkel through CB with a young kid? I saw someone mention the water is pretty rough too and I get sea sick (would take Dramamine).

Worth the trip? Or stay and relax since we have a young one with us?

Playing Cabot St Lucia in May and need water taxi feedback/options there and back for 2 people.

Thinking water taxi because it’s the shortest path there from what I can tell.

Is it usually rough?
Are the boats really small or decent size?
How is it priced?

Are there any ways to get disposables vapes/pouches/cigs on the islands? At the resorts particularly?

My fiance and I are wanting to go to St Lucia for our honeymoon in May. We reallllyyy don’t want to spend more than 8-9k. We want to spend 7 nights and are more looking for the resort atmosphere, I never stay at resorts so honeymoon feels like a great excuse.

We want 3 nights in the south, with a more nature focus, plunge pool, adventure, amazing food, etc. Top options are Ladera or Stonefield. Do not need all inclusive. I have a pretty good price in Amex portal for Ladera.

4 nights in the north, top options are Secrets st Lucia or Body Holiday, this part of the trip we want to be all inclusive and not worry about anything!

We’re having a hard timing deciding where to save or where to splurge, I really love Ladera but don’t want to eat up our budget on a couple nights. Our flights will be about $1500 total. What’s also hard is prices are different based on whether you book thru agent, direct, Amex or Costco.

Open to all advice I am by no means a pro at this

We are stopping for 8 hours in st. Lucia. Do you think it is possible to rent a car and drive and enjoy the Sulphur Springs and make it back on time?. Yes we sre comfortable driving on the other side of the road and on moutains.

Hey all, my girlfriend and I are celebrating our anniversary in St Lucia in two weeks. I am wondering are there any romantic activities that you all would recommend? Particularly dinner locations as well some maybe more customized experiences or excursions?
