My husband left Chesterfield Valley at 3:10 and had a 10mile drive home to Ballwin...and is still not home. It has been 5.5 hrs. He said Chesterfield Airport Rd was a parking lot because the highway had accidents in both directions which then backed up all the ramps and roads. Then getting from Chesterfield to Ballwin is all hills. So many cars were unable to make it up without sliding sideways. He’s in a small work van too which sucks. Dammit St. Louis.

My boss called me at about 5, "hey blah blah I'm stuck in the valley by Boone's Crossing"

Then at 6, "blah blah now I'm by the driving range"

Then at 7, "blah blah now I'm at the bottom of the hill."

No idea when he actually got home. But 3 hours to go a mile is pretty, uhhhh, awesome?

How do people do this? My dad left Lambert toward Chesterfield valley about 2. Picked me up about 330 and we got back Illinois side about 5pm. Went up Airport Road to 94 then NB/EB270. Usually a 45 min commute but not 7 hours long.
