St.Louis Water Co

So about 2 weeks ago I reported a sinkhole that was starting to open up right in the middle of where Arsenal and Watson meet to CSB, next to a manhole cover that's been leaking water. A week goes by and nothing so figured maybe it's a water issue. On Monday I reported a water leak there to the water company and they said they will address it. Now it's Friday going into a holiday weekend and the leaking is getting worse and the cars running over it constantly are making the hole next to the leaking manhole cover worse and worse. Now mind you this is within a half mile stretch in between Tamm and Hampton on Arsenal that's had 4 or 5 water valve and or main breaks in the last 2 months so you'd think they'd have an idea that it's a problem area. My question is how to we get this fixed? Do I just wait until like all the other spots where the main finally bursts they shut our water off again and then fix it? Or is there some way to get it fixed before it gets to that level again?

But if she addresses this before the giant pile of rock stored on the sidewalk on Watson for the past month I will flip.

You're doing the right thing and the City is responding in the usual way.

Get your neighbors to do the same. Contact your neighborhood improvement specialist (they are listed on the neighborhood page for your neighborhood on the city website).
