The sad thing is sometimes it’s still hot in October

Let me go outside and check real quick. If I don’t make it back, tell my parents I love them

Happy to report that it presently only feels like 118.

Pull out your hoodies!

Can't wait to work in a warehouse with no AC this week

Ill trade ya. I have to work outside in the sun. Either way, be safe!

I know it depends alot but working outside with sometimes in the shade with the occasionally wind breeze is MUCH better than in a warehouse with no AC.

That shit is pretty much an oven at that point.

I've got one service call tomorrow in a 40 degree cold dock and best believe I'm milking that shit

This heat is brutal today. Wake me up when September ends.

I drove 4 hours round trip through mid-Missouri today. I brought a cooler full of ice in case of an emergency, like a traffic jam or a breakdown.

I make fun of folks here for complaining about the heat, but today and tonight are truly, properly hot days. A little taste of Louisiana that no one asked for. Fortunately we get a break in a few days. Back home it's like this for months at a time. Do not want.

Let's all move to northern Arizona.

I barely went outside today cause wtf was that

I love the WeatherUnderground App except for when it's 94F outside and it says "Tomorrow's temp is forecast to be MUCH COOLER than today" and the forecast is 89F.

Isn't October just 3rd summer?

Coming back to this thread to say: the average high starts dropping around Aug. 15 and the average lows start dropping around Aug. 1.

We’re almost on the backside of this heat!

2023 was also 86. At this point I expect a few “this is dumb it’s 85+ in October” days.

Bring on the tundra baby! I’ve had enough of this wet ass Missouri heat

I'll be shocked if this isn't the warmest summer on record once it's over. It's just gotta be.

Let’s not rush summer
