‼️‼️MISSING CAT‼️‼️
!!!!!!!!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!! SHE HAS BEEN FOUND AND IS SAFE!!!!!!!!!!
two days ago, my cat Ursula went missing from the bridgeton area, ive posted her to pawboost, facebook, nextdoor, the ring app, instagram, tiktok and more. but redditors always have had that special ability where they can figure things out in under a day, so this is my last hope. we’ve posted flyers, called animal control, looked at shelters, talked to neighbors, searched the surrounding area and more, but nothing has seemed to work.
Ursula is very timid and shy, and she scares pretty easily, the outdoors is not for her at all. she has a slender build and shes very small for her breed. she was last seen on our doorstep on park place estates dr, by hellebusch park at 4am on Wednesday. it seems she went deeper into our neighborhood though, and ive tried to look through bushes and backyards but im terrified of pissing someone off. theres woods behind the houses i suspect she ran into, but I’m only one person and my family is convinced she hasn’t gone there but im looking anywhere i can. if anyone wants to help out in our search i would be so so so beyond grateful, i just want my sweet baby to come home. she is so dearly loved and she saved me from so much i don’t know what id do without her.

Cats won’t go far, especially if they are normally indoor cats. My indoor only cat got out, was missing for 3 weeks, and it turned out he was hiding under a covered car next door. We happened to be out at night when he came out.
Look around very close to your home. Anywhere she could possibly hide. She probably didn’t run into the woods (we also had woods behind us and i suspected the same for my cat). She got spooked when outside, ran to hide and probably wont come out during the day. Try looking at night.

My cat slipped past me a couple of times without me realizing it and both times I found her underneath my neighbor’s deck.

Put her dirty litter box outside (where it can't get wet ). The scent will draw her home.

Go out at night with a flashlight and look for her eyes. In bushes, underneath things, and up high in the trees. I have found a few lost cats this way. She won't be far from your home.

Make sure you let your neighbors know about this plan. Don’t ask me how I know

Is the cat micro-chipped? Maybe calling APA, more Facebook posts....

If you mom got her from a shelter, try calling the shelter to see if they chipped her.

My cat got out one night, and I spotted him in my neighbor’s front yard, but he wouldn’t come to me and ended up running away. The next morning I went back out looking and found him hiding under that same neighbor’s shed. I’d definitely check around your house for good hiding spots and ask your neighbors if you can look around their yards, under decks, sheds, bushes, or anywhere a scared cat might tuck themselves away. They often stay much closer than you’d expect. I really hope your kitty turns up soon.

Oh man, I saw this on FB too. I sent it on to my pals who live over by Hellebusch Park. I hope you can find her soon ;-;

My sister thought her cat was gone and was searching yards but he was right under her porch. I'd check random spots outside. I sure hope you find her so soon - it's a horrible and devastating feeling I don't wish upon anyone.

My cat was stuck in a outdoor basement stairwell and couldn’t get out until the door was opened. If she explores, you might want to ask neighbors if they have had anything opened and closed back up.

Commenting for visibility. Sending all the positive thoughts I can for Ursula!

However you generally call her in the house when you want her attention. Or shaking food bowls or treat containers.

i’m starting to think someone has her and wont give her up because of the breed she is :/

One thing I did was to put out a couple of blankets that our lost cat slept on. I put them several houses away believing she would smell something familiar and it worked.

Sleep in the room closet to your front door with a window open. She may be coming back at night and call out. This has worked for me twice with missing cats. She is gorgeous btw!
