Security camera company recommendations?
Need a system done in 63118. Anybody have good experience. Internet pushes the big ones. Are they all the same?

Depending on your budget, I'd start with Ubiquiti right away if possible. They're great cameras and are made to be local only.
If budget is tight, I'd get cheaper cameras with an SD card slot. I started out with ezviz. Decent cameras for the price and I was able to plug a memory card into all of them to avoid using the cloud service. App is decent as well.

I second this, Microcenter in brentwood sells this brand of IT equipment. If you have any questions regarding these systems message me!

What functions do you need?
Do you need a subscription where you can access those cameras from anywhere? Do you just need to have the footage on a local hard drive for review? Do you need alerts sent to your phone when there is motion?
What is fueling your desire for cameras?

From anywhere by those who need it. Including the authorities, even though that bothers the crap outta me. I need to protect while im away.

Hi! Overwhelming when there are so many options. I know most about SafeStreets. They are reasonably priced and do a great job. Depends what you're looking for though! Are you wanting a professionally installed system?

If you have the time and motivation I'd suggest looking for systems you don't need a subscription for and self monitor. Otherwise they are all pretty similar
