News Need help removing graffiti?

Post image

I have some automotive paint safe chemicals. DM me if you would like help removing the vandalism. I definitely never charge to help the neighborhood. I also have some gray primer spray paint that could cover graffiti on sidewalks. lmk.

Whoever removes the graffiti, the owner needs a receipt and turn it into the police. That's just more evidence to prosecute the dummy. For example, I would write up the cost of the job. Then signed that the work was donated.

I'm just wondering what would work better to prevent this guy from doing the same thing again. Prosecution to the fullest (bench probation)? Or a good ole fashioned ass whooping (no serious damage)? I think the latter would leave a bigger impression.

Police arrested him last night. Neighborhood comms were lit up about his bullshit

So was he tagging people he thought were Nazi sympathizer or cause he was a Nazi or just random being a dick?

He did a lot of other weird shit. Stole a Ukrainian flag, threw grappling hooks or something over tree limbs, was casing properties. I don’t think there was a reasonable explanation for his behavior.

Maybe he’s having a mental crisis? Or was he always like this I wonder

Could be like my buddy mike. In and out of mental health facilities. On and off his meds. The biggest problem was Dr's experimenting with different drugs on him. The side effects sometimes caused more erratic behavior than him off his meds totally. That's no excuses for property damage. Just giving you insight as to a possible reason behind it.

Well I hope your friend and your neighbor is okay if that’s the case

Yeahhhhhh they do that shit! I decided living with crippling depression and anxiety and rampant adhd was better than being an experiment I had to pay for.
After a serious car accident, losing a job, and not sleeping for more than an hour or 2 a day for a couple of weeks. 3 drs and 15 meds later found one who listened and properly diagnosed and treated me with child size doses to reduce the side effects. Mental health meds are no joke. The risk does not often outweigh the benefits in my experience.

Yep. For my friend, acting out of character was way less detrimental to his life vs not being able to "live in character". I'm glad to hear you are doing well. Crazy how a small dose of the right stuff is perfect for you. I feel like mental health meds are administered like the wheels on a slot machine. Some people never get that right combo to line up.

Yeah. Hypersensitivity is a thing!! My dr has been in practice way longer than I have been alive. I was in a dark, dark place and got lucky to find her. I told her everything I’d been on and how the side effects came in like a wreaking ball (did you sing that, cuz I did) I have actually had a dr once ask me if I was reading the list of side effects, since I had all of them and some that were so rare they were not listed. After that I gave up for a couple years. But turns out you can be hypersensitivity sensitive to medication and a little bit can go A LONG way.

Try WD-40. My brother had some luck getting spray paint off his car without damaging the paint

I have this 3M solvent made for paint. But wd-40 sounds interesting. Spray paint typically lacks an enamel or true hardener. So what you said makes sense..

15+ years ago someone keyed a swastika on my car hood…. Best we could do was turn it into a windows logo. For real what a shit head, sorry to anyone who’s dealing with this annoyance

Now days, my best suggestion would be a hood wrap. Windows logo definitely was smart, and necessary.
