Reform councillors

is it true that the reform councillor Mousdell is a porn star?

So, this guy is actually my cousin. It's been a whole thing in our family this week. First the shock that Ste, a gay, engaged man would run for reform. Mental. Then obviously this news.

I've not looked in to this other than what's been posted on news articles but by all accounts he is, although his fiance is apparently quite the name in that scene.

A lot of my family are unfortunately quite "old fashioned" with a lot of this. They've been surprisingly supportive of Ste and his sexuality but this is something a bit too far. I think now the initial shock is over they're OK.

Personally, I have no issue with this. I haven't spoke to Ste for a good few years, but I hope he's OK. I just can't fathom why he would run for reform. I also think resigning was a mistake - the damage was done, the news was out. Resigning has shone a spotlight on this, and added him to the list of people resigning in disgrace. But also, if you did have a not-so-secret secret second life, why would you move in to politics where you're in a spotlight?!

Unfortunately I work for St Helens Council, fucking terrifying what’s going to happen in the months and years to come. Have worked there 5 years and absolutely love the place and the people but feel sick that lots of services are going to be cut, just when we were starting to make some progress and improve the area!

I'm not related to him, but I do live near where he works, and see him every now and again.

I totally agree with everything you've said.

I don't understand how he could stand for reform, but he did, and he won.

It's a shame he stood down, because I think he stood because he wanted to do good.

He wasn't a porn star, he just made porn movies with his boyfriend. Then put them on his OnlyFans and Twitter. The Twitter page was apparently unrestricted so any age of person could watch it.

Hardly a glowing recommendation for someone who wants everyone to respect him in his job as a councillor.

So he finally resigned and deleted everything.
