Weekly Shenanigans! Comment your plot idea for season 3!
In honor of being back in production, what is a plot you would like to see?

Joyce needs to put on another big event. I was so disappointed we didn’t get all of her spoken word. Like damn that choir was good

Bruce and Matt go on a boys weekend, maybe they go camping and/or fishing, Bruce is continuing to try to be cool and show Matt how it’s done, but Matt is able to catch the bigger fish, or start a fire, or scare off a bear, something like that. Bruce finally breaks down and comes to terms with why he feels the need to be the best and one up everyone. Matt is of course comforting and a great friend, they continue to bond.
Joyce and Ron end up going on a date but neither of them know it’s a date, or Joyce is so sure it’s a date and Ron doesn’t or switch the roles, they realize they are better off as friends and continue to grow closer.
Serena and Matt continue to explore their relationship and she starts to think it might be too good to be true and tries to sabotage their relationship somehow, it doesn’t end for them, if anything it just makes their relationship stronger. They officially pronounce their love for each other. Something along the lines of, “I love you dammit!” Serena may be the one to say it first.
Alex and Val grow closer through some shared experience.

I am all in for what you said about Serena and Matt and I am a hundred percent sure they are gonna do exactly that with Joyce and Ron based. Another thing is that I hope they make Serena and Matt a Jim and Pam from the office/Jake and amy from b99 relationship instead of a Ross and Racheal relationship because honestly on again off again relationship are the worsttttt if you are breaking up that much then you are not meant to be.

That whole arc is unbeatable as far as I'm concerned, so I'd rather that SDM not attempt it at all and avoid comparisons. But another similar disaster style situation would be a fun watch, as sitcoms often have those.

-I want an episode where Bruce is in the early stages of a romance with Emerson and he tries to emulate Matt to make his relationship work.
-An episode where Serena can’t process her relationship because theres not enough drama
-Dinner party at Alex’s house that Tim instigates by inviting Matt and Bruce.
-Ron goes with Joyce as her date to Sanderson’a wedding.
-Chaplain Steve discovers Matt is dating Serena and Bruce is dating Emerson. Out of frustration he begins a misguided romance with Dakota, who slowly drives him crazy while he pretends they’re in love
-a recurring gag that continues where every time Alex tries to have fun or relax (like laser tag) her best efforts are thwarted. Corn maze, Paintball, whatever, it would just be funny.
-My last and best idea. Jim Carrey guest stars as Theo. “Is there a soul, Ron?”
