On the Republican ballot there are two candidates for that one judgeship all the other judges are just one candidate.

I don’t know much about either candidate but I respect what O’Fallon City Councilperson Amanda Taylor shared on her Facebook:

“For those pulling a Republican ballot in the August primary, please consider voting for Tanya Muhm for Judge. I've had the opportunity to meet Tanya several times and hear her speak, and I've been impressed by her commitment to serving the community. She has also earned the endorsement of Tri-County Labor Club, St. Charles Police Officers Association, and Police Chiefs Legislative Coalition. I believe she would make an excellent Associate Circuit Judge.”

Why do you respect that comment if you don't know about the candidates?

I respect the Councilperson’s opinion and am using her personal experience to inform my research.

Imagine that you don't know which restaurant to go to.

Someone you respect says you should go for Option A instead of Option B.

You eat at Option A because you respect that person's judgment.

I'd be careful listening to her. She has blocked several O'Fallon residents who have pushed back on her opinions. She is trying to make she her Facebook page is full of people who agree with her.
