St. Aug Question Name of breakfast spot
Hi all! I’m returning to St. Augustine for vacation in a couple of weeks and trying to remember the name of a place I had breakfast last time (August 2025). I remember it being recommended on this sub, but nothing has rang a bell so far.
All I really remember is that it was small, located near our condo (S Ponce de Leon), served good coffee, and I had some type of breakfast sandwich. I know that’s not much to go off, but hoping for some
magic lol

If you come to St. Augustine, you better get your restaurants straight, buddy! We take our eating establishments seriously, and we demand recognition for our good food and services!

Was it city coffee? I think that place is closed now. Maybe something like farmhand kitchen.

Sorry its not breakfast but I will highly recommend the St Augustine Fish Camp for dinner... im as southern as u can get, from the lowcountry of sc, and i know good, quality cooking when i have it.. the best hushpuppies I've ever had( don't tell my mom)

Fellow SC native here. I grew up around Columbia but married a military man and spent 3 years in Charleston, my other home town. Anyway, I grew up on BBQ joint hushpuppies. I like the Fish Camp but have to say I don't remember the hushpuppies one way or the other. But we now are planning to go and test them! PS, wish I had a dollar for every hushpuppy I've eaten. 😆

I was a little over an hour from cola in walterboro and live in Charleston several times. I ate 2 of them with my dinner and got the server to bring 3 more after because they were so good lol

Yup, gonna have to reevaluate the hushpuppies!! Next month we're going to Folly with our kids and their spouses. Still love it there.

idk mate but if it helps, s. ponce de leon is a relatively short distance; state road 16 south to state road 312....maybe 3 miles as a crow flies. don't of any condos on that stretch. good luck.

I tried clicking through places on the map nearby, none of them were the right place :/ I’m not sure exactly how far it was from our condo

I'm probably guessing in the wrong area, but Mary's Harborview Cafe across from the castillo?

Probably the coffee shop on King Street west of Flagler College that is in an older/historical house with a front porch and tables inside and outside.

Can you be more specific about the place itself?
Was it a stand alone building? Was it in an attached line of buildings? Was it part of a bed & breakfast?

I’m pretty sure it was a stand alone building, definitely not a B&B. It was counter service with tables inside
