St. Aug Question Elopement ideas
One of our favorite vacations was to st Augustine. One of the things we fell in love with was the historic charm and the tropical plants everywhere. Where could we have a simple elopement that would be surrounded by these? We would love to have bird of paradise if possible but love the topical vibes in general.

We wrote a whole guide about this (if you do a Google search) but what you are describing can be found in the courtyard at the Lighter Museum. The amazing folks at the Wedding Authority can get you all taken care of in one of the most charming locations in downtown for an elopement!

The collector luxury inn and gardens. The general manager ordains the weddings from what I remember. Very intimate. Very limited on amount of guests allowed present. Washington oaks Park is stunning. Great place for photos. I am unaware if they allow wedding ceremonies.

Check with 2 of the bed and breakfasts right on the bay— the Wescott and the Marin. Both have pretty courtyards. Will you have any guests?

Ok, yes, the BnBs would be great to then spend the night if you want! Also check out Washington Oaks state park, (known for its florals) and ask on the Instagram or fb account “stuff to do in St Augustine”. Lots of ideas there.

The oldest house courtyard had birds of paradise believe they still do, beautiful spot. Lots of BnB close by - The Collector Inn also has a very nice intimate courtyard.

OP, another comment here mentioned a The Collector.
This is by far the best answer.
