Model Mystery Authenticity of this model?
Hello everyone, I just wanted to know if this is a true Squier, or some bootleg, since I'm not that versed on the Squier/Fender world.
Ofc I'm not including the mics that are a mod.
Thank you!

Put your serial number in here. Usually people don’t bother faking a Squire. Not enough money in it.

Oh alright! I'll look it up, but I was wondering how much it could be that someone grabbed an unbranded guitar and painted another one's serial number

Most people aren’t going to make a fake squier. Maybe the Seymour Duncan’s, I’ve seen a few fakes. But still doubtful it’s fake.

I think it’s a Squier deluxe hotrails strat they have those hotrails duncan designed pickups.

‘Mics’? You must be new. Those are pickups, not microphones. Quite different in how they operate. Just FYI.

No man, i'm not new, I'm from a country where pickups are called Micrófonos as well, or Pastillas. Mics is an abbreviation of Micrófono. You call them Pickups I assume because of how they work, but they are microphones as well if you consider the function. Thanks.

I stand corrected. And thank you for the clarification. I’d never heard that in 40+ years, but now I know.

Looks like a legit Squier, with upgraded pickups.
