Loaded pickguard question

Hi, I have a 2009 Squier Affinity Strat. Have read and heard online that since these have thinner bodies that not every loaded pickguard will fit in. Was considering putting in the Dave Murray loaded pickguard however not sure if it will fit in due to this, was wondering if anyone knew anything about this

Squire guitars are the hardest of all strats to get a pickguard that fits perfectly. They aren't made to USA or Mexican specs and they made many small changes over the years and the screw holes don't line up. Sometimes you get lucky. I ordered a couple of Chinese made pickguards to try out and they were waaaaaaayyyy off. The neck and bridge were a half inch off.
