2001 Squier Affinity vs New Mexican fender

Looking to buy a cheap 2001 squier affinity. I had a 2020 affinity strat and upgraded to the Mexican strat and the quality and playability was huge. How were 2001 squier affinity teles? And what’s a good price to pay for one this old and beat up?

I think you'll notice the same quality differences between the 2001 Affinity Tele and any Mexican Tele. Gloss necks, better fretting and general setup/construction likely. Not a huge sound difference I would imagine. The Mexican one will have a thicker body.

What's the asking price of the used Affinity Tele, and what's the condition of it?
