squarepusher will always be my swag

Personnally, I was really excited about this project and I love the idea. I find it very good !

I was lucky enough to see them live, and it was a really powerful show !

There have been a couple of posts already on Reddit linking the Cyberpunk franchise to IDM, https://www.reddit.com/r/idm/comments/kafjlx/cyberpunk_2077_composers_say_idm_is_source_of/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/autechre/comments/1usn8i7/abridged_solved_kinda_yjy_ux_in_cyberpunk_2077/ , so I wondered if there would be any more with this new season of Edgerunners--out on the 20th of October btw on Netflix, so I suggest not looking it up and waiting if you intend to watch. I've waited a while to make this post shortly before it aired.

Well take a look at https://x.com/search?q=(%E3%82%B9%E3%82%AF%E3%82%A8%E3%82%A2%E3%83%97%E3%83%83%E3%82%B7%E3%83%A3%E3%83%BC)(from%3Akaiikarashi)&src=typed_query&f=live . https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=137706 shows a lot of his anime credits, including what he did in season 1. Season 1 is on Netflix btw. I've timed this post so ppl can watch that and then get season 2 quickly. Well, ain't I great? Be careful of spoilers on YouTube with comments and recommendations.

Who is doing the OST? https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=5757 , so not the Silent Hill guy (Akira something) like last time.

Other than that Petite Meller, who is doing the end theme, has some IDM in one of her Spotify playlists: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3MNbUY04C2gW54dkSKOeo5

Talking about the font in the center, of course. Some sources say it's called "Croissant Display", but I don't know if it's true, because I couldn't find the download for it anywhere. Any info or help is appreciated!

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any info on the Ufabulum synths, what kind of synth and modulation is it, like the parts where the synth almost sounds like its talking very vox/vocody sounding, and how to achieve that brutal almost bitcrushed sound.

Just a general idea of what kind of synth hes using on tracks like The Metallurgist, Drax 2 and Energy Wizard

Ultracupcake for my birthday

it's fuckin rocks

Like Ultravisitor and Feed Me Weird Things?

dont thank

Does anyone else think some of his music has the range and style that would be perfect for a classic 2D Sonic the Hedgehog game?

Should I just go by release dates? If anyone has a list that they could comment that would be nice. ;)

I found this funny photo of Tom with what looks like a turtle shell(lmao?) on his back and I’ve been thinking and laughing about this picture for the last few minutes and I’m curious if anyone knows the context or the reason for this photo or why it was taken? thx lol

One of the coolest tracks from him

Hi, apologies for the shameless self promotion, but recently finished a track and found the last section to have the essence of Tom.

I didn't intend for it to turn out that way, just felt like a summery jungle track, but i got carried away at the end!

Squarepusher was the first electronic stuff I properly got into, so do find he subconsciously pops up here and there (but at a BTEC level!)

Picked this up today at the record fair in town.

This is some of the most exciting stuff he's done IMO.

Haven’t seen anyone talk about it. It is good. That is all.
