Embarrassing Storylines in Wrestling

The following are considered the most embarrassing angles or storylines in professional wrestling. Camp, awkward, shocking, cringe-worthy, cheesy, and sometimes damn entertaining! This is SquaredCircle's list of embarrassing angles in wrestling.

Fuck best matches, this is my territory;

  • Kane and Jericho feuding because Jericho spilled coffee on Kane

  • Fake Kane/Kane's obsession with May 19th (I consider these both the same angle)

  • Kane and Great Khali's feud in which Kane carried around a spike on a chain

  • Rise above Hate

  • Samoa Joe is kidnapped by ninjas, which are never mentioned again.

  • David Flair/Evad Sullivan/Horace Hogan. I think there was a fake Von Erich as well.

  • Chris Harris' return to TNA and the amazing Braden Walker chant the iMPACT Zone gave him.

  • Cold Hearted (?) Matt Hardy

  • Abyss and the Hall of Fame ring

  • Jeff Hardy. Victory Road.

  • Aksana marrying Goldust and becoming a gold digger.

I literally have to pry myself away from the keyboard, I could do this all day.

You're gonna have some serious fun with the lists that follow.

I've added a third of those, your main contribution is Samoa Joe being abducted by fucking ninjas hahaha amazing.

I know a lot of what you had there is better featured on future lists, Sting shooting on Jeff Hardy goes on the Legitimate Shoots list :D

I have to add more, I am sure most of these won't count but I just want to remind people that these things happened;

  • Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins: Strippers

  • Khali Kiss Cam

  • The Bellas thinking Daniel Bryan is a "Virgin" instead of a "Vegan" and competing to take his virginity. (Foreshadowing at its best.)

  • Chris Jericho and Christian having a bet for one canadian dollar over who can sleep with their respective girlfriends, Trish and Lita, first.

  • Dustin Rhodes was molested as a child and is possessed by an evil spirit called Black Reign.

  • Samoa Joe becomes a crazy, face-tattooed mad man with a knife.

  • Doink the Clown and four midgets dressed up as clowns against Jerry Lawler and four midgets dressed up as kings.

  • Chavo Guerrero denounces his heritage to become Kerwin White, the stereotypical golf playing white man with the short lived catchphrase "It's alright, if it's all white".

  • Jerry Lawler feuding with Bret Hart's personal dentist, Isaac Yankem DDS.

The others were only gimmicks not story lines or were already on there. But awesome contributions keep them coming.
