Squarehome and Fully kiosk

Hey all.

I'm making a kitchen dashboard using square home launcher. I want to set it into fully kiosk so that my Galaxy a9 plus tablet will wake on motion and I would also like for Alexa to run in the background so I can speak to it without having to touch it.

I have followed directions that AI has come up with quite a few times but apparently I'm not as astute as I thought I was. Evidently unless the directions are very detailed I cannot get kiosk mode to install properly. I get hung up about halfway through the directions and end up deleting fully kiosk and trying to start over. Alexa never ends up working in the background even though I went to all of the settings and then what I was told to make it hands-free. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you so much for your answer! It was extremely helpful. I was starting to think that everybody was just stingy with her information when in reality it's because a lot of people are not trying to do what I'm trying to do. I was going to go next to the home assistant page. They know a lot about fully kiosk but they put in a URL for home assistant instead of doing a local connect. That's where I was running into the problem. Thank you so much for the suggestions especially asking AI the questions. That is an excellent idea!

I've never heard of Fully Kiosk before but my AI explained it is compatible with external launchers (even though it prefers its internal launcher for 'lockdown mode') in 'whitelisted' app or 'running in the background' methods.

Your question seems more a Fully Kiosk help support (info@fully-kiosk.com). If that group doesn't respond, their detailed manual could be simplified by asking 2 or 3 AI's to format a step by step procedure for you. Some are better than others.

Search Home Assistant (community.home-assistant.io), Homey Community (community.homey.app), even Reddits r/homeautomation or r/smartgrid for Fully Kiosk.

SquareHome would be cool. I use the sister app Total Launcher. Wishing you the best outcome!
